Mechanical watch movement service

Standard Movement Service

A complete overhaul for mechanical and automatic pieces. Disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, fresh lubrication, regulation, and a timing report. Gaskets and crystal are inspected. A written summary accompanies the watch on return.

What Clients Often Ask

How do I know which service tier my watch needs?
Bring the watch in for a no-cost assessment. We examine the movement, note the service history if available, and recommend the most appropriate tier. You are under no obligation to proceed after the assessment.
Do you service all watch brands?
We work with the majority of Swiss and Japanese movements, including many vintage pieces. Certain independent or highly proprietary calibres may require manufacturer attention; we will tell you clearly if that is the case before accepting the piece.
What does a standard movement service involve?
The movement is fully disassembled, cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, inspected part by part, freshly lubricated, reassembled, regulated to timing standards, and tested over several days. Gaskets are replaced and the crystal is assessed. A written timing report is included on return.
How long does complication or restoration work take?
This depends on the piece and scope agreed. Chronograph services typically run four to six weeks. Restoration projects are scoped individually; timelines are confirmed before work begins and communicated promptly if they shift.
Is the quoted price final or can it change?
Quoted prices cover the described service scope. If we find additional issues during work — a worn part, a cracked crystal — we pause, contact you, and present options before continuing. Nothing is added without your knowledge.
Can I send my watch by post from outside Bangkok?
Yes. We accept watches by registered or insured courier. Contact us first so we can advise on packaging and confirm intake. We do not accept pieces sent without prior arrangement.
Do you offer any follow-up period after a full service?
Standard movement services carry a 12-month follow-up period. If rate or function concerns appear within that window under normal conditions, bring the watch in and we will assess it without an additional diagnostic charge.
